Every Contact Leaves a Trace

My name is Jill Brown and I'm a musician who's passionate about making music accessible to those on the margins of society. I'm looking to create a new body of work to enable me to continue to share my story and to encourage others to share theirs through songwriting. In the past I've worked with people who are homeless, who struggle with addiction problems and those in prison. Although I've  volunteered and performed in a Scottish jail before, this is different because I'll be delivering songwriting workshops with prisoners. The plan is for this to culminate in a special concert at which I'll  sing new songs alongside the prisoners I'll be working with.
