Save Diana and her family from the horrors of war

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm Diana Hamada, a Palestinian from Gaza, have been displaced i and my family to several areas, including Khan Younis and Rafah, and we are currently residing in a tent in Zwayda . I urgently reach out to you as my family faces the devastating impact of the ongoing war in Gaza. Our home is burned and in ruins, our jobs lost, and we're in desperate need of your assistance to ensure the safety of my family and our children .

Living in a tent was never something we imagined. This makeshift dwelling is our sleeping quarters, changing room, dining area, kitchen, and sometimes even a place for the children to bathe. The lack of privacy is unbearable, and this life has taken a toll on our health, both physically and mentally. My brother Mohammed has contracted hepatitis from these living conditions, and my uncle has fallen ill with a stomach infection due to contaminated food and water. Fear and dread haunt us constantly, amplified by the sounds of tanks, planes, and rockets, along with the menacing presence of stray dogs at night.

The lack of privacy in the tents is overwhelming. We are three families, each tent housing nine people in cramped spaces. We share one bathroom, and due to water scarcity, we shower every 15 days. Our faces are pale, and two of my family suffer from chronic diseases and cannot obtain medicine. My mother suffers from high blood pressure and my father suffers from colon disease.

To escape the grip of unrelenting war, my family of 8 members urgently requires $50,000. This amounts to $5,000 per person , covering the costly journey from Gaza to Egypt during these perilous times

We are now 252 days since October 7th, and our lives have been turned upside down, subjected to the relentless onslaught of Zionist occupation, airstrikes, tank shelling, and even the heinous crime of women's assault, as witnessed in Al-Shifa Medical Complex. We long to travel and change our lives and future for the better.

My little brother Hashem ​, has been deprived of their basic rights — their childhood, home, schools, education, and the joy of playtime. his lives now revolve around the streets, filled with fear and dread from continuous Israeli bombardment. his painful questions echo (Will the war end when we all die?), (Will we ever return to our home and my toys?), and countless other unanswerable queries. I hope you can help us save our child from this hellish existence

{My family before the war}

أنا ديانا حمادة، فلسطينية من غزة، نازحة حاليا في خيمة في رفح. أتواصل معكم بشكل عاجل بينما تواجه عائلتي التأثير المدمر للحرب المستمرة في غزة. لقد احترق منزلنا وأصبح في حالة خراب، وفقدنا وظائفنا، ونحن في حاجة ماسة لمساعدتكم لضمان سلامة عائلتي وأطفالنا.

نحن الآن نعيش في خيمة وهذه العيشة لم تخطر على بالنا حتى في خيالنا هذه الخيمة لنوم وتغيير الملابس وللمأكل والمعيشة والمطبخ واحيانا لاستحمام الاطفال بها .. أن تتواجد لوحدك بالخيمة للقليل من الخصوصية شئ مستحيل هذه الحياة صعبة جدا و تسبب لنا الأمراض والاكتئاب كما اخي محمد قد اصيب بمرض الكبد الوبائي من هذه العيشة وعمي أصيب بجرثومة المعدة من الحياة والاكل الملوث ولا يفارقنا الخوف والرعب من صوت الدبابات والطائرات والصواريخ وفوق هذا الهم تحاوطونا الكلاب ليلا بصوتها المفزع .. الخيمة لا يوجد بها خصوصية ابدا نحن 3 عائلات كل خيمة تحتوي ع9 افراد ومساحتها ضيقة جدا وجميعنا مشتركون في حمام واحد نقف كل يوم طابور الصباح وبسبب ندرة المياه نستحم كل ١٥ يوم وجوهنا شاحبة و٢فراد من عائلتنا مصابة بالمرض المزمن ولا يتوفر الدواء ويتعرضون لنوبات التعب والهزل منهم امي مريضة الضغط وابي مريض القالون ..

وللهروب من قبضة الحرب التي لا هوادة فيها، أنا وعائلتي، البالغ عددهم 23 فرداً، نحتاج إلى 50ألف دولار. وهذا يصل إلى 5000$دولار للشخص الواحد . ويغطي هذا المبلغ الرحلة المكلفة من غزة إلى مصر خلال هذه الأوقات المحفوفة بالمخاطر.

ونحن الان 252 يوم من بعد 7 اكتوبر حياتنا انقلبت رأسا على عقب ونخضع تحت سيطرة الاحتلال الصهيوني من طيران وقصف ودبابات (واغتصاب النساء ) كما حدث في مجمع الشفاء الطبي ،وسجن الشباب، وضربهم نتمنى ان نسافر وتتغير حياتنا ومستقبلنا للأفضل ..

انا خريجة تربية انجليزي سنة 2019 كان لدي مركز تعليمي فوق منزلي و عملت فيه لمدة 4 سنوات لتدريس الطلاب دمره الاحتلال الصهيوني كانت هناك ذكريات جميلة مع طلابي حرقها الاحتلال المجرم ..
