Everything Will Be Alright Initiative
Donation protected
Artist activist Alfred Nomad presents the "Everything Will Be Alright Initiative" raising funds to provide free therapy sessions for black creatives.
Partnering with mental health organizations Inclusive Therapists &Therapy In Color with your help we can bring mental health tools and resources to marginalized communities in need.
Only one-in-three African Americans who need mental health care receives it. Now more than ever the black community is in need of mental health support.
What we're looking to do
Ensure black creatives have access to mental health therapy. Inclusive Therapists & Therapy in color are facilitating a national directory of BIPOC therapists who will be compensated directly for their services from our donations.
Our Goal
Raise $7,000 in proceeds for free therapy / counseling sessions for black young adult creatives struggling with mental health factors such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.
It will take $700 for each black creative that we provide the professionally suggested minimum of at least 6 therapy sessions. The more funds we raise, the more individuals that we can help.
This fundraiser will run for 30 days, and every dollar helps.
