Unexpected move after 20 years costs a lot.

Hello friends, family and anyone else who contributes or doesn’t,
I’ve been living in the house I’m in for nearly 20 years. I was suddenly given an eviction notice with all its legal trimmings which gave me until July 31st to move. The house is being sold to fund 24hr care for my deceased landlords’s wife. I have found a place but it won’t be available until August 15th, I was granted that two week extension by the law group in charge of the eviction. If you know anything about me I’ve dealt with many ups and downs throughout my life, like us all. I don’t come from a rich family in terms of money but there is not a lack of love.
I had a TBI (traumatic brain injury) in 2001 which still has an effect on my balance, especially when tired. Because of my ineffable determination I’ve overcome many of my disabilities but I have to realize that they are still there, just not as prevalent. Because this eviction notice came out of the blue I have not had any chance to save or procure funds for the move.
My brother (Peter) is coming out to help me pack and reassign various items to different lives. He is coming at the end of July and will not be here when I move. In my new place I need to pay 1st and last months rent ($5200) and a refundable cat deposit ($500). I don’t drive so I also need to find a way to get my stuff 3 miles to my new house. This includes 100’s of plants who don’t appreciate being moved. I will have a roommate, a University of Washington Student, who I work with so half of the cost is his.
The new house is an upgrade in my life, my cat’s life and my plants’ life. I will include photos of things in their new home when they get there. I’m still working at Pike Place Fish Company and am happy. I thank you for any amount you provide and I love you whether you can donate or not.
