Eviction of encampment on Jenny's Wood

This week we had travellers force their way on to Jenny's Wood. We decided to take prompt action to allow the site to remain open and available to all our regular visitor, especially as Easter aproaches.

This meant taking legal action to enable bailiffs to remove them if necessary before they could do too much damage to our woods and the neighbouring businesses.

We are pleased to say they left on Wednesday. There has been damage to the entrances and loss of some trees as well as the flora and fauna on the park.

The bill for this will come to several thousand pounds which, as a small independant charitable Trust, we can ill afford.
