Our mother Dionicia Rodriguez has fell ill in the hospital in ICU due to COVID-19 and we are asking for you to hear her story.

Dionicia is a mother of 8, she is a hard working individual who since the age of 13 has been working nonstop to provide for her family. Unfortunately on July 18th after a visit to a local clinic in our small town she was diagnosed with COVID-19, she was transported to a nearby hospital in Ft Worth that could help treat this illness and was later moved into ICU. Dionicia’s only worry throughout all of this is how she is going to be able to afford the medical expenses with her family being out of work due to testing positive for COVID-19 and not being eligible for health insurance. Please help our loving mother not worry about the expenses and instead worry about getting herself healthy again to see her family. It has been a terribly long 2 weeks not having our mother home and even worse not being able to visit her during these times. Her doctors have confirmed her to have pneumonia and failing oxygen levels, they are doing everything they can to help her beat this illness.

Dionicia es madre de 8 hijos, es una persona muy trabajadora que desde los 13 años ha trabajado sin parar para mantener a su familia. Desafortunadamente, el 18 de julio, después de una visita a una clínica local en nuestra pequeña ciudad, le diagnosticaron COVID-19, fue transportada a un hospital cercano en Ft Worth que podría ayudar a tratar esta enfermedad y luego fue trasladada a cuidados intensivos. La única preocupación de Dionicia a lo largo de todo esto es cómo va a poder pagar los gastos médicos con su familia sin trabajo debido a los resultados positivos de COVID-19 y no ser elegible para el seguro de salud. Por favor, ayude a nuestra amada madre a no preocuparse por los gastos y, en cambio, preocúpese por recuperarse para ver a su familia. Han sido terriblemente largas 2 semanas sin tener a nuestra madre en casa y, lo que es peor, no haber podido visitarla durante estos tiempos. Sus médicos le han confirmado que tiene neumonía y niveles bajos de oxígeno, están haciendo todo lo posible para ayudarla a vencer esta enfermedad.
