Help Jerson continue studying

Project name: Food for Thought
About:
Covering University costs for students in need in Mindoro, Philippines.
Founded in 2015, this project has already helped one student get through a 4-year university programme and is currently working with their second scholar, Jerson.
Who are we?
Food for Thought 's working team consists of Elin Karlsson and Marvil Iglesias. Both are based in Europe (Sweden/Spain/Germany) and have worked with this project officially since 2015.
How we raise funds:
Coming from dance backgrounds, a majority of our finances come from events we organize around our own dance communities in many different forms (shows, competitions, workshops).
Recently, we turn to our online fundraiser for external support.
Our scholar Jerson:
Jerson comes from an impoverished province in the Philippines where statistically only 1 out 10 young adults acquire a University diploma.
Jerson was one of many who was forced to stop studying due to the lack of finances and is now getting his second chance at a higher education.
He was abandoned by his parents as a baby and was raised by whom he considers his "grandmother". He has found family in a tiny village strip along the coast of a busy road. Sadly, there is no one he could have turned to for covering the costs of his studies.
At 20-years of age, he feels he needs to pursue a secure future for himself and the people he loves.
Costs:
This GoFundMe covers Jerson's fourth semester as a Med Tech student at Luna Goco College in the island's central district of Calapan.
Tuition fee: PHP 26 549 (462 euros)
Books/allowance/COVID-19 logistic costs: PHP 10 000 (174 euros)
Total cost for the semester: PHP 36 549 (636 euros)
