Help Brooke Overcome Health and Financial Struggles

Donation protected
My aunt Brooke has never had it easy. She was born with water on the brain, but she fought through it and built a life for herself. She’s one of the top performers in her field every year, she’s the kind of person who always shows up for people, and she still somehow finds time to take her nephews to the movies and make life better for the people around her.

Then last year, she lost her dad. And before she even had a chance to catch her breath, life hit her again.

She got the flu earlier this month—103 fever, miserable, but she got through it. Except when she woke up on February 6, she had lost vision in her left eye. Just gone... slowly going black over 5 days. Since then, she’s been in and out of hospitals, had five MRIs, a spinal tap, a CAT scan, and still no real answers.

And because life apparently wasn’t done kicking her while she was down, she’s also dealing with the fallout of people she trusted taking advantage of her financially while drowning in medical bills and trying to figure out how to move forward when it feels like everything is collapsing at once.

And it doesn’t stop there. Brooke has a genetic disorder that has caused issues with her legs that flared up enough this year to require her to get braces fitted from her calves to her feet. She was supposed to pick them up, only to find out that the clinic had forgotten to order one of them. Before she could sort it out, she got sick, and now her other brace is finally ready—just as she’s facing all of this medical uncertainty.

She’s always been the one taking care of others, but this is too much for one person to handle alone.

She needs a hand. Let’s give her one.

Anything you can give will help with medical bills, her mortgage, and just keeping her afloat while she figures out what comes next. And if you can’t donate, please share. My aunt has spent her whole life taking care of other people—now it’s our turn to take care of her.
