Ewan Galloway Music Fundraiser

Over the last year I have been extremely humbled by everyone's generous help with regards to my musical career.

Your donations have allowed me to keep performing to our online community which I feel very strongly about. It helps support people who sometimes live on their own, or cannot travel to get to a live performance any more. Out of lockdown the Stagger Inn was created and I hope it will be here to remain for a very long time.

I have been performing for 15 years, and with a full diary of bookings, I decided to leave my job with Royal Mail in June 2019 to pursue a full time professional career with my music. Sadly this soon changed with the lockdown. I would like to thank Daniel for originally setting up the 1st go fund me page to help raise money for me due to my gigs being cancelled (as they still continue to be). Daniel is now away with the Royal Navy and it is therefore easier for me to set up a new go fund me page.

Music has been a real life saver for everyone during lockdown, not only for the listeners but myself too. I am very grateful to all the kind messages and cards I have received saying how you have all enjoyed listening to my lockdown shows on Facebook and YouTube as well as the CD created from the tunes. As we draw closer to 2021 I don't think the gigs are going to start returning very quickly. I intend to keep performing as much as I can and keep everyone's spirits up.

Let’s keep going, keep our traditional music alive, stay happy, healthy and positive and hopefully we will all see each other really soon.
