NH Nurse in Need

Tara McAllister has been diagnosed with a rare and incurable neurodegenartive disorder called Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Tara has been an extremely hard working and caring nurse at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for over a decade. Unfortunately, this disease has put her out of work permanently. Watching her become the patient rather than the caregiver has been heartbreaking for everyone.

Her husband Ben works day in and day out taking care of the house, Tara, and their children, Ava and Riley. Ben is now the sole income provider. Due to the rapid decrease in Tara’s health, he often misses work to help take care of her. The financial burden they are experiencing due to this terrible disease is very hard to watch.

Tara is in need of an in home care taker. The family is unable to cover the out of pocket expenses this requires. This fundraiser is being created in response to many requests to do so and reach anybody willing to contribute. The family is extremely appreciative of any help!
