Help with medical expenses

Sam is my niece she lives in grayland Washington with her mom and dad.

This is an update her mom posted earlier today.

Sam had a close encounter with a pickup whole crossing the highway from the school bus stop this morning.

Sam was airlifted to Seattle once Aberdeen stabilized her. She has a brain injury and was rushed to surgery while we were driving out. We are in Seattle, and waiting for news.

Since I will be here all night (only one of us can stay with her), I will be turning updates over to Brian Bradshaw until tomorrow. Please note that he is trying to keep everyone updated as best he can.

I will update as I can. Sam is a fighter and got her dad's stubborn streak, but it's likely going to be a long road back to some semblance of normal. Her neurologist here reported, prior to surgery, that she has all her reflexes, including brain stem function, and has motor function at least in her arms.
