Eastern Wayne High Football Program

My name is Leander Oates, I was recently named Head Football Coach at Eastern Wayne High. I am a product of Eastern Wayne and a 1997 graduate.
We are rebuilding our football program from the ground up. Every day our kids are working hard on the fotball field and in our classroom. There is no reason that we shouldn't be able to compete with the large schools in our conference. I would like to give our kids every opportunity to be successful and to enjoy the amentities of a first class program.
The funds that we raise will be used to do just that, we are desperate need of helmets, shoulder pads, padded girdles, cameras to film games and practices, game field setup equipment-sideline numbers/end zone pylons, weight room eqipment, line man sleds, sled sleave covers, athletic cones and domes, practice jerseys and game gear amongst other operational items. We are fast approaching to the start of the 2016 season and I would like to have many of these items in place before the season begins.
It is important to me to show my student-athletes that they can and will establish a strong, positive foundation in our school and in our community. I want them to truly be a part of a self-sustaining program that will flourish for years to come. It goes without saying that we will be immensely grateful for any and all donations that we recieved.
