Exceeding Limits; The Journey Through Vermont
Tax deductible
Having a purpose in life and setting goals for yourself to achieve is an important aspect of maintaining a healthy mindset and mental health. Fostering a lifestyle of community involvement, physical fitness, and the opportunity to serve are three factors that play a key role in my life to help me maintain a strong mental health as well as sense of belonging and purpose. Fortunately enough, Team RWB, an organization founded by and made specifically for military service members and veterans and their families, follows a similar moral compass to assist those who have served with helping them find their purpose and meaning once again through community involvement and physical fitness.
I am a big preponderant of pushing your mental and physical limits. This summer I have decided to take it one step further and will be running the length of my home state of Vermont. I will start on the southern border of VT and MA and run 195 miles North until I reach the Canadian border. I will be doing this project as a part of ‘Team RWB’ to raise awareness and money for mental health as well as to enrich the lives for those who served and their families.
