Exeter Villa COVID Relief Fund
Donation protected
The Exeter Villa has been hit with a COVID-19 outbreak and many of us are wanting to do something to show our support towards the staff and residents as they navigate this challenging and scary time!
This group was created to raise monetary donations that will be put towards purchasing food (fresh and frozen) for the staff at the Villa as they navigate these challenging times. Our goal is to stock a freezer with quick grab and go food they can warm up after their shift at home and to supply some treats as pick me ups available throughout their shift (coffee, muffins etc.).
We are also open to assisting the Villa with any needs for the Residents that they are lacking at this time ie. warming trays for them to help deliver warm food to individual rooms now that all residents are all in isolation.
The meals that will be provided will be purchased safely and from reputable businesses in our community only. Unfortunately home cooked meals or goodies are not able to be sent to the home. This is to ensure there is limited exposure. We hope you understand!
We will be taking ALL the necessary precautions to provide these meals safely to the staff and are in direct communication with the management team to keep things running smoothly.
All the staff in every department are working hard, the stress and burnout are real! If we can take even a LITTLE of that stress away with taking the burden of some meal planning and preparation away and leaving them to feel appreciated this will have been a success!
Such a wonderful way to show our Frontline Workers we care!
