Expanding Hope for a Family in Poverty

Hello there. I am friends with a very poor family here in Honduras in desperate need of better living conditions. They have 6 living in a tiny house (more like a large room) and my goal is to build an extra room so the older children can have there own place to be. They are a family of poverty but have a beautiful faith. The father is alone raising five daughters. the mother left him 8 years ago with five daughters to provide for. He is a very simple minded man and to earn money he looks for trash to recycle or sells vegetables in the market. Even though he is simple minded he has a deep wisdom and knows the bible. He has impressed me and inspired me many times with words of simple and sincere faith. On a good day he earns 8 dollars.

Working on this project with me there are two eighteen year old orphans and a recovering addict who are learning new skills in construction. Any amount goes quite far here in Honduras. Thank you and God bless.
