Need to Expanded our TNR housing for ferals cats
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Lisa and I am a volunteer at Ohlone Humane Society. I am reaching out to all of you in hopes of helping me and my friend Mary out. We have been taking care of a feral colony now for little under a year now here in Fremont, Ca. During this time, we have personally caught 90+cats and got them fixed with the help of Ohlone Humane Society with appointments and lost of assistance.
Unfortunately with little help from the surrounding area we have been paying out of our own pockets to do this to help stop the cat population in this area.
It now has came to the time to ask the community for help.
We are in need of a kitty cat condo. Once we catch the cats we personally house them until we get the appointments, then do the recovery and then release them or if possible, find them a new forever home .
We are getting so overwhelmed with people asking for help that we need to expand just to keep up. So that’s where you the community come in.
We are asking for donations to help get this kitty condo so we can continue TNR for the cats in this community and any extra money that we will receive, will go back into the TNR donations to help spay and neuter future cats.
Your donations will be used to buy the kitty condo, supplies and the rest will be used by the Ohlone Humane Society for trapping ($40.00 co-pay) in other areas. This service will not only help control the overpopulation, but will improve the quality of life for these cats, wildlife and people around them.
Thank you in advance for your donation and in helping keep the stray/feral cat population under control and allowing these cats to live a better life.
