ExpeditionUS Off-Road Camper Fund

Donation protected
Early in the AM on Tuesday, March 14th the off-road trailer belonging to Ralph and his wife Terri (Overland Bound Members #0460) was stolen and completely gutted while traveling through Billings, MT.

The trailer was parked under the lights in a hotel parking lot, and was surrounded by other vehicles. The thiefs were able to detach the trailer and drive off, and then stripped it of ALL of it contents.

The shell of the trailer was found by the police later in the day abandoned in an alley

Est value $12,895 in equipment/gear + $4,000 damage to trailer. Complete list below.

We are working with the Peters to determine the exact amount needed, and we will update this page to keep the donation range within their needs.

Ralph and Terri were on their way to explore Alaska, and now their plans have been halted while they put their overland life back together.

We are asking our community to come together and help Ralph and Terri by donating any amount, large or small, so they can begin the rebuilding process.

Personal Note from Corrie & Michael:

We met Ralph and Terri at the Overland Expo West 2016, and we had the pleasure of adventuring down many trails over many miles with them the following week.

To overland with R&T is like overlanding with family. Every time we stopped for the evening, out would pop the kitchen from the trailer, and food would immediately go into production mode. Chairs made available. Blankets and heat, and offers of a cold beer or hot coffee. They are hospitality in motion.

(When Ralph and Terri impromptu fed a small army out of their trailer.)

We were shocked to hear of the incident in Billings, and we hope we can make their days a little brighter by creating resources to help them rebuild, regroup and get back on trail.

Adventure is better together as a community, a family. Most often, we get inspired by hearing awesome stories and 99% of posts on social media would have you believe it's all epic and awesome all the the time.

But sometimes life hands you a bucket of suck. And it's precisely at that moment you need your community to be lifted back up. Ask anyone from a small town. As a community, you just do it. We've been there.

We're not speaking for Ralph or Terri and they didn't ask us to do this, but we think they could use a pick me up. Having traveled with them, we know how much they have supported others. If you can, help 'em out a bit.

Thanks in advance to all of our Members for being such an amazing network and communty to help people. This is the real mission of Overland Bound.
