Expenses & bills removal of tumor from my kidney

Hi family and friends, I've been going back and forth with myself for quite some time on how to tell everyone about the health problems I've been having the last several months. Around the end of last year I started having some serious complications with my health and spent a bit of time in and out of hospitals and doctors offices. After hearing from doctors what may be wrong I was in denial with the answers they gave me. However, the beginning of the year I met with a specialist and was told I have kidney cancer. I've had a lot of health problems the last couple of years and haven't really had any doctors take them seriously until recently. I was in the hospital a couple of years ago for a cyst that ruptured on my ovary and the tumor on my right kidney was found in imaging then, but for some reason staff never informed me about it. When I went in the end of last year imaging was done and I was informed about it. I've been struggling with how to kind of come out and tell everyone. As many of you know I lost my Mom and my Grandmother to cancer when I was younger. If I'm being honest the last few months have been some of the scariest of my life and have really taken a toll on me. I've spent a lot of time sick and not feeling well. I've missed out on work and that has set me behind on bills. I'm trying to get some money together to be able to take the time I need to off to have surgery and recover and if possible catch back up on some of my living expenses. This whole situation has really drained me emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. I've never used GoFundMe before, but I've had some people close to me push me to set something up. Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.
