2-year-old Elijah Cai Dowd Passed Away

Yesterday evening, I received an urgent call regarding an Oasis of Northwest Arkansas resident, Emerson Hardy.

As it turns out, Emerson's two-year-old son, Elijah Cai Dowd, passed away unexpectedly during his nap. As you can imagine, Emerson and her family are absolutely crushed by this loss.

This 21-year-old mother, expecting her second child, is overwhelmed by the emotional and financial aspect of burying her first baby, Elijah. Emerson needs all of the support we can give her.

Please consider making a donation to help pay expenses. And please keep this young woman and her family in your thoughts and prayers. The days, weeks and months ahead will be incredibly difficult for her to navigate.

It is my sincere hope and prayer that the community will rally around Emerson and help provide for her financial needs as she faces this tragic loss.
