Expenses for 5 year old accidental shooting victim

Friday, July 31, 2020 our family's sweet Trey May was involved in an accidental shooting at his father's home. He is currently at Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY fighting for his life after an emergency craniotomy. His family is by his side and gathered in the parking garage to be there with one another. The doctors are not giving much hope to his mother but we are praying for a miracle. Please join our family in that prayer. 
This campaign was started to help with traveling expenses back and forth to the hospital, meals while at the hospital, medical expenses, care expenses for Trey's little brother, or whatever the family may need now and in the months to come. If you can give, please do so. Thank you.

Edited to add: Gofundme has contacted me and informed me I need to edit this to clarify who I am so here it goes. My name is Elizabeth Russo. I am Shelby’s cousin who is Trey’s mommy. Mark, his grandpa, is my first cousin. Our dads are brothers but Mark has always felt closer to me than a cousin. 

When this campaign was started, I never expected such a huge response but I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I stand amazed by God’s grace and that He put it on people’s hearts to give. The funds here will provide for Shelby’s family so that her focus can solely be on Trey’s healing as this will surely be a long road ahead for them. I have been in contact with Mark (grandfather to Trey), Tami (grandmother to Trey), and I have been ableto talk and message with Shelby (Trey’s mother) briefly, as you can imagine she has many other things on her mind right now. We are still believing in a miracle and rejoice at every milestone of recovery that Trey has had and WILL have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love, prayers, and generosity shown to our family during this time. 

Update: As stated in a previous update, I (Elizabeth), will be working with my Aunt Patricia Ridener (Trey’s maternal great grandmother) to get these funds released to a bank acct. In accordance with gofundme’s policy for withdrawal, I am sharing the information that the funds raised here will be put in a bank acct under Covenant Life Church and Aunt Patty will distribute the funds to Trey for any need of his that arises as he continues through the recovery process. Again, thank you all for your generosity to Trey and his family during all of this. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and give all the glory to God for His mercy and grace.
