Expenses for Greg Nash’s Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Aaron Nash and I’m raising money for my father, Greg Nash, and my family to help cover expenses and medical bills for his upcoming fight with Cholangiocarcinoma. This is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer of the liver with fewer than 20,000 cases per year being diagnosed.

Greg has a tough road ahead of him with chemotherapy and will need help with things like being driven to and from Portland (he lives on the PNW coast and is about 2 hours from where many of his appointments will be) and help to cover costs of special protein powders and other suggested diet items that he has to follow because of the disease. Greg is also suffering a swollen spleen, cirrhosis of the liver, and a blood clot as a result of the cancer and all of these things combined must be handled as the fight against the Cancer moves forward. The chemo starts very soon and we are hopeful that it will shrink the tumors in his liver so that the doctors may remove them safely afterward. Money raised will also go toward any possible unexpected complications and/or expenses necessary that are related to his fight with the cancer.

William Gregory Nash is a 66 year old male from Toledo, OR who is also a United States military veteran that served our country for many years and has worked multiple difficult blue collar jobs for his entire life. Greg was also the co-owner and head chef at the infamous Newport Cafe in Newport, OR and brought many good memories as well as an amazing food menu to the people of the Oregon Coast for at least a decade.

Our family is grateful and appreciative of any help we can get moving forward. Procedures and chemo will begin within the next 3 weeks as we prepare for this difficult time.
