Jaden Baer and Family Medical/Travel Expenses

Donation protected

On February 10, 2020, Jaden Baer went to the
eye doctor after experiencing headaches and a
crossed eye. The doctor immediately directed
Jaden’s mother to take him to Sacred Heart
Children’s Hospital Emergency Room. There, a
tumor was discovered in Jaden’s brain and the
following day, he endured brain surgery. It was
determined that the tumor could not safely be
removed and a permanent drain tube from the
tumor to his stomach was put in place. Biopsies of the tumor were taken.

On February 20, 2020, Jaden’s  mother received
the most devastating phone call of her life:
Jaden‘s diagnosis is terminal brain cancer and he has up to 9 months of his beautiful life left. He
will be receiving 6 weeks of radiation in hopes of
prolonging his young life and he is eligible to
take part in a clinical trial at Seattle Children’s
Hospital.

We are praying for a MIRACLE.

Jaden is a 16 year old Junior at Mead High
School. His mom is Jessica Eckersley and his
step-dad is Spokane Police Sergeant, Brian
Eckersley. Jaden also has two younger siblings
and two German Shepherds.

Jaden is a bright light in so many of our lives. He
is known for being sarcastic and funny and
always thinking of others above himself. He has been a star athlete on the Mead Track
Team, a Cadet Snowboard Instructor at
Mt. Spokane and a CrossFit competitor.

Jaden said that he wants to complete a bucket
list before he leaves this earth. This fund is to
cover the cost of that bucket list, as well as any
travel expenses, medical expenses and any other
unforeseen expenses that his family may
experience.
