Michael was the same from birth; heart of gold, devoted to his family, adventurous, super smart, engaging, stubborn, funny, his heart knew no stranger and he was a friend to all. Sergeant Michael L. In his retirement, he was a proud serving member in the US Military Vets MC where he forged bonds with brothers across the globe.

Thank you again for all that have donated so far. We all really appreciate the support for the family. Most importantly, Jkyia and their boys.
We are only a week from the service so please donate anything if you can or share. I will be giving her all the money raised so far next weekend while I am there for the service. After that, I will still continue to provide her any money that comes in as it comes.

Thank you to everyone that has donated and shared this post. We are almost a third of the way to the goal. I keep trying to update this to add more photos or write more about Michael. But it has been hard to come up with words and photos are so hard to look through. Please continue to support this so we can help keep the financial parts of this tragedy out of the way.

Update:
There will be a service held on January 18th in honor of Michael. Please continue to donate. I will be providing all the donations to Jkyia on the 18th that are currently there, unless she needs anything sooner. After that, I will continue to send her any donations as they come in.
Michael didn't know a stranger. He would help anyone with anything they needed. We are all deeply saddened by his loss and holding onto each other in this time. I still do not have the right words to describe him or what is going on.
For those that knew him, please free to send me messages and pictures. We would love to hear any good memories you have and are going to put them all together in a memory book once we have the capacity.
