Donation protected
UPDATED 9/30/23:
Executive Vice President of Farmingdale Town’s Chamber of Commerce (BETH MIGNONE) and Long Island, NY Radio Personality & Philanthropist (NICK TANGORRA) are the creators of this fundraiser. Their relationship to who the funds have been raised for is through their friendships & relationships within the Farmingdale School District that was impacted by the Fatal Farmingdale High School Bus Crash.
Initially, the funds will go directly through Executive Vice President of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, Beth Mignone. She will get a bank check to properly distribute the funds directly to MIKE MOTISI at the Farmingdale School District
Funds are being dispersed as per the school district request-bank check accompanied with a letter to specify:
• Joseph Pellitere, the surviving child of Gina Pellitiere (one of the fatal victims of the Farmingdale High School bus crash).
• The victims of the Farmingdale High School bus crash
As requested by the Farmingdale School District, these funds will be distributed to the families of the staff who passed away and the students involved. Those receiving funds raised through this gofundme can put their amount towards funeral expenses, medical expenses, therapy, travel, food, damaged items, etc.

Students from Farmingdale High School were on a Band Camp field trip when one of the buses carrying nearly 50 people was involved in an accident and flipped over earlier Thursday afternoon. At this time of the gofundme, 5 children are in critical condition and 2 staff members on the bus has been pronounced deceased.
As we continue to keep these students, teachers and their loved ones in our prayers, we also understand the expenses that will follow in medical treatments, therapy, food insecurity etc.
This gofundme was created in effort to offset the potential costs for the victims & their families in these coming weeks. It is designed to donate 100% of all money raised to the families of those victims in today’s crash.
I have reached out to the High School’s Principal (J Herman) as well as the assistant principals (A Martinez, C Patronaggio, C Stillwell) and the Board of Education. 100% of all funds raised in this gofundme will be transferred into the proper account to ensure it goes directly to the Victims’ families.
Personally, my name is Nick Tangorra. I am a Long Islander who has been serving my hometown community for nearly 2 decades. Serving as President of 501c3 not for profit charity organization, “Rock Out Autism” and on the board for the “Towers of Freedom 9/11 Military Monument” located in John J Burns Park in Massapequa, I have a desire to always want to give back to my community. When I saw the gut wrenching news, as a musician and previous member of the music club in my high school, I wanted to help.
