Exploring my roots by education abroad in Spain!

Hi there! My name is Isabella Salerno and I am a freshman at Florida Atlantic University!

I am thrilled to announce that this summer I will have the honor to stay with a host family as well as broaden my educational journey in Seville, Spain! Many who know me personally would know how special this experience is to me as my Abuela and extended family are from Seville. I have always heard stories about how beautiful the city is from my Abuela and Abuelo, and how that city holds an immense amount of history within my family and culture! During my time in Seville, I will be taking 9 credits of marketing-related classes as well as obtaining job experience as an intern with a company in Seville. This will nourish my professional future as I am working towards my degree in Marketing and give me hands-on experience that is diverse and filled with opportunity! As I mentioned before, I have family that lives in Seville that I am going to finally be able to meet and hear the wonderful stories of my Abuela when she was younger, seeing all of the places she saw, imagining she is right there with me as I explore the beautiful world she grew up in.
