Extend the masjid entrance & replace existing wudhu facility

Dearest brothers & sisters,

Alhamdulillah as you are all aware, at Masjid Ar-Rahmaan since February 2023, significant changes have been made to our masjid.

The following projects have since been completed with your support:

Project 1: Mic system replacement (Feb 2023)

Project 2: Boiler system replacement (Oct 2023)

Project 3: Leaking roof repair, plastering, painting & lights + electrics replacement (Dec 2023-March 2023)

Before the coming of the month of Ramadhan, we completed our latest project and the feedback we have received from the community has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have complimented the transformation of the masjid and our masjid feels more welcoming and bright.

We are still, however, only getting started with our projects and we have now decided to begin raising money for our fourth project; Extending the masjid entrance, replacing existing wudhu (ablution) facility and replacing existing kitchen upstairs.

This project will allow the entrance of the masjid to become more spacious and will cater for those who require more easy access such as wheelchair users. It will also replace the existing old wudhu facility with a new, modern and brighter facility.

The project is expected to begin in May and will take approximately 2 months to complete. There will be some changes to the structure of the masjid and this means that the expected completion time could increase if needed.

Alhamdulillah, as we are in the final days of the blessed month of Ramadhan, we kindly urge you to extend your most generous financial support. It is only through your prayers and kind donations that we have been able to make a significant difference to our masjid and we will continue to rely on them moving forwards.
