Hi,

My name is Phil and I am fundraising for Extinction Rebellion's Vic Spring Rebellion '22.

Yes, the Spring Rebellion is back following the outstanding success of previous concentrated actions.

Extinction Rebellion has three key Demands:

1. Tell the Truth

Government must tell the truth by declaring a climate and ecological emergency, working with other institutions to communicate the urgency for change.

2. Act Now

Government must act now to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero.

3. Beyond Politics

Government must create and be led by the decisions of a Citizens’ Assembly on climate and ecological justice.

We will be taking to the streets again in a mass campaign of non-violent civil disobedience in October 2022.

With the expansion of gas projects and native forest logging in Victoria, a captured government refusing to listen to scientists and a state election coming up, the times call for bold and decisive action on the part of ordinary people.
