Extra Love for 3 Deserving Schools in WS
Donation protected
I'm a member of Community for Public Schools, a small group of parents, teachers, and other community members advocating for students, educators, and families in Forsyth County. We've partnered with WS/FCS to identify three schools that could use some extra love for their teachers and staff in the coming year: Carter High School, Philo Hill Middle School, and Easton Elementary School.
These three schools either have a small PTA or no PTA at all–so we've met with each of them to identify their specific needs for the 2023/24 year. We'll be helping with classroom supplies so teachers don't have to spend their own money. We also plan to organize quarterly lunches or breakfasts for teachers and staff, as well as fulfill other needs the schools may have. For instance, throughout the year we'll be supplying teachers and staff at Easton with soft drinks and coffee supplies. And we already have donations from Bobby Boy for a breakfast at each school! We've also partnered with Jourdan Fairchild, a local interior designer who's donating her time to do a teacher's-lounge makeover at Carter High School. Check out her video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2Sx0Y9uXCQ
Our teachers and staff are superheroes–they give so much to our children, and we want to give something back. I hope you'll help by giving what you can. No donation is too small!
