Extra miles: Help WNC Strong rebuild our small businesses

WNC has suffered major damage from Hurricane Helene. Over the last 3 weeks I have heard many stories of devastating loss to life and property to our home of 25 years.

Many businesses throughout our region have been severely damaged or destroyed. WNC Strong is a fund set up to help small businesses rebuild w/grants.

Many of my peers and I were going to run a 22 mile trail race, Shut-In, in 2 weeks. This was cancelled due to the destruction to the trail and parkway from Helene.

I am going to run 25 miles on November 2nd with some friends to raise money for WNC Strong. Please donate a dollar or two per mile to help our community rebuild.
