Dusty got in a really bad accident

Dustin “The Wildman” Crum, invasive Burmese python hunter and local hero of the Florida Everglades ecosystem has been in a bad car wreck. Late Sunday night, heading home from Venice after helping a friend move his mechanic shop, the truck he was a passenger in lost control after a tire blow-out on the trailer. The vehicle and trailer flipped three times causing severe injury to his lower right leg and knee. Dusty was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital where he faces a long road of surgery, recovery and rehab.

His injuries are so severe that the possibility of a devastating outcome has not yet been ruled out. The paramedics are astonished that he survived.
