Mika’s Hind Leg Surgery - Help my Sweet Kitty

My name is Justin, and this is my sweet 14 year old princess, Mika. Her entire life, she has been a spry sassy cat who never even had a cold. On January 27th, Mika started showing signs of distress in her right hind leg. Knowing something was wrong I took her immediately to the vet, who referred me to an orthopedic veterinarian. We found out on February 5th that Mika has a tumor that has slowly deteriorated her Femur and her leg has to be amputated. I was in no way prepared for this mentally or financially. With no previous health scares I neglected to take insurance out on her and now have to pay for her surgery out of pocket. I not someone who likes asking for money or help, but without this I cannot help my baby heal and recover. She’s such a fighter and I know she will make a full recovery. The surgery is the only way to make that happen and has been scheduled at the Veterinary Orthopedic Center in Highland, Indiana for February 22nd and all funds will be used for that.

She has so much more lift to live! Any help will be greatly appreciated. ❤️‍
