Eye surgery for Camden & Delaney

Our grandchildren, Camden (6) and Delaney (4), both have a condition (strabismus) in which their eyes don’t align properly. Glasses and eye patches have not brought improvement, and both kids need corrective eye surgery to prevent vision loss.
Camden’s surgery is scheduled for August 15 at the Children's Eye Clinic at OHSU Casey Eye Institute – three days before his 7th birthday. Delaney’s surgery will follow in September.
Thankfully, the family has health insurance, but their out-of-pocket expenses will exceed $6,000 for the two surgeries. These unplanned medical bills come on the heels of other recent expenses, including a hearing aid for Camden and costly home repairs that drained the family’s savings.
To ease their financial burden, we are personally doing what we can to help financially and creating this Go Fund Me appeal.
There is no pressure to give, but If you are able to help with even a small donation, we would be very grateful. We adore these smart, kind and joyful children, and we want to do everything we can to ensure they have healthy eyes to see this beautiful world every day.
