EYESIGHT FOR GRACIE

GRACIE MARIE KREGER…

Hello, my name is David Wesley Kreger.

My little dog Gracie was one day away from being euthanized when I rescued her from the dog pound. nobody wanted her because she had bladder stones and when she urinated it was mostly blood. I immediately took her to the veterinarian and had her checked out. Gracie was on a diet for one year to reduce the stones from her bladder, but we ended up having to have an operation to remove the remaining stones. I found out from the groomers in Borger TX that Gracie had been severely abused by her previous owners. They said when they brought her in to be groomed, she would be matted, and her eyes would be matted shut and she would have feces and urine in her coat of matted hair, she had been crated for over 6 years and hardly never let out of her cage.

Gracie was brought from Borger, Texas to Stinnett and dumped out on the streets by her previous owners. after she had been crated for over 6 years and had developed bladder stones and was dying. The pound had picked her up and that’s when I got her.

I’ve had Gracie for 3 years, she has diabetes and is blind because of the diabetes. I am 80 years old and live alone, that is until this little girl came into my life and became a member of my family. 11 years ago, I was released from the Walls unit in Huntsville, Texas after serving 22 years for a crime that I didn’t commit. Most all my family members had died while I was in prison. Like Gracie, I’ve not had such a good life either. Over these three years we have bonded together, she’s my little sweetheart and now she’s in need of cataract surgery and I don’t have the money to have the operation and I’m reaching out to you to help us. I live on Social Security and that is my only income. I am 80 years old and I’m in need of help and I ask you to please donate what you can to help Gracie and me during this time of need.
