American Legion Post 42, in Townsend, Mt. is a place that veterans can come to relax and the public is welcome to come in as well, the Building is in need of many repairs, Roof, Ceiling fans, floors, and Kitchen, just to name a few . not one penny of these donations will go toward the Bar, Alcohol, Beer, or other Bar Items, these DONATIONS are intended for the BUILDING REPAIRS, stated above only.
As soon as we start getting funds we can begin the repairs and we are hoping to be able to at least have the roof fixed soon .
Your support will make the American Legion a much nicer and more comfortable place for our Veterans to come, where they can socialize, and be able to get information about or where to go to get help with their benefits that they so deserve.
