My name is Sarah Jokerst. My chosen sister, Jamie, needs our help.

In April of this year, she suffered a brutal attack. She was beaten beyond recognition, had her entire bank account drained, and worst of all, Jamie nearly lost her life. Her victim’s advocate said that her case was the worst that he’s ever seen in his entire career. Despite all of this, she’s worked hard to rise above the ashes to continue to support herself and her three sons all on her own while still walking the arduous path to healing. She’s been struggling and barely making end’s meet ever since the heinous assault on her body and assets.

Last night, she was dealt another extremely difficult card. She suffered a bad fall and fractured her ankle. Her circumstances were already bleak and now she faces losing everything she’s worked so hard for to maintain her family’s existence.

Jamie is the first to step in and show up for her family, friends, and community in any way that she is able.
