Located in Saskatoon sk.
I met Bob and Edith 20 some years ago and kind of adopted them as grandparents
Bob first showed me his sewer pipe sock machine that he made and I was fascinated by how is great mind accomplished this. He sent me home with this machine and I attempted to figure it out. When we moved Bob took it back and made it smaller. He added the antique machines that could knit 90 stitches per second and Socks by Bob was born. Over 17852 items have been made by Bob and his crew that volunteer.
Funds raised will go to purchase yarn for Custom Woolen Mill. We will raise enough money for one years supply of yarn. On average four pairs of socks can be knit from one lb of yarn. An average of 2000 pairs per year.
please feel free to check out Facebook page and watch videos of Bob and his team in action
