UPDATE: We have our itinerary!
We depart on February 20 and then Elijah will see Dr. Canlas on February 21 for his consultation and then will have his surgery the day after. Prayers for a successful procedure.
... from there on it will be work, determination, more prayers, and smart training. Thank you to all who have supported.

It is with a humble heart that we are asking for assistance in helping get our boy back on the road to recovery.
On January 26, 2020, our son, Elijah Garrido, suffered from a complete tear of his ACL, a complex tear of his lateral meniscus and a peripheral tear of his medial meniscus while playing basketball at the Kanto Plains Classic in Tokyo, Japan while playing for the Father Duenas Friars. We hope to get him seen late February (2/22-2/25), which will give him a few days on Guam to get the swelling down and to travel to the Philippines for his surgery.
All donations raised will go toward the cost of his surgery and any operational costs with Dr. Canlas at St. Luke Global City in the Philippines.
Background Information: Elijah is one of only two athletes on both of Guam's Junior National Basketball and Volleyball teams. He is a high-ranked student at FDMS and if all goes well, he hopes to one day play at the collegiate level, return to Guam to represent our island, and give back to those student-athletes with similar aspirations. He is a junior in high school and will have one year to try to get back to the same level of competition he was at prior to the injury. This surgery will play a huge role in all of his plans.
Some of our friends and family prefer PayPal, so if that is you as well, you may send to [email redacted].
