My name is James.

I'm Ezmay's Boss & long time family friend.

Let me tell you a story, a story about a talented young woman with the world at her feet & a mission to succeed.

Ezmay, 17 years old, my sidekick, my apprentice, my wingman & loyal trusted employee who has run through brick walls and firehoops to get our business where we are today.

When I say to you what this girl can achieve, it is limitless! You may not believe me but those who know Ezmay will definitely understand.

In my 27 year career in the Hospitality Industry I have never come across or had the pleasure to mentor & work side by side of such a talented, hard working, level headed & calm person as Ezmay.

Ezmay is smart, funny, beautiful, slightly moody but overwhelmingly kind, caring & compassionate & an amazing sister to her 4 brothers!

An apprentice chef at Patchills Pantry with a bright future ahead of her. We have spoken numerous times about her aspirations of opening her own restaurant. This is no ordinary 17 year old, with her head most definitely screwed on!

In late November, 2024, Ezmay was rushed to hospital in pain. This pain ultimately has been diagnosed with Muscle Cancer of the Pelvis which has unfortunately spread to her lungs.

Ezmay now faces a long, hard battle to beat this cruel & devastating disease.

So many people have contacted Ezmay, her family & our business wanting to help. We want to try and raise enough money to help Ezmay, her Mum & family, to make lasting memories for them all at these incredibly difficult times.

Edit : Ezmay, her family, myself & Kate are absolutely dumbfounded by the generosity given to Ezmay's story and fight she has ahead. Within 24 hours we cannot believe the amount given. Every penny raised, shall go to ensuring Ezmay receives the best care and support she needs as she faces this personal health challenge head-on. Due to donor demand and not knowing the uncertainties ahead we want to raise as much we can to help this wonderful, special girl. We have changed the target due to more people wishing to contribute. As said above, all monies received shall provide Ezmay the support she needs and enable her family to give her the best care she requires during this uncertain and difficult time.
