Ezra Blake Shiver Expenses

My name is Darla Shiver. I am the grandmother of Ezra Blake Shiver. I have created this go fund me account for his parents Josh Shiver and Reanna Barber.

Baby Ezra was born 3 months premature at 25 wks gestation on August 20th 2023. He has spent his whole life of almost 7 months in the NICU at the hospital with multiple medical issues since birth. He has endured 2 stomach surgeries as he was diagnosed with NEC at a week old. Surviving this alone was nothing short of a miracle. Ezra also has numerous heart conditions along with lung disease as he was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and Pulmonary Stenosis undergoing 3 heart Caths which included ballooning and 2 stents put in place to open his ventricles. Despite these efforts with his amazing medical team at Le bonhuer Children’s hospital in Memphis Tn. his little heart is not responding well to the treatments and procedures. He has now been placed on palliative care while his medical team tries to decide on a treatment plan for this life threatening illness.

I am asking for donations as Ezra’s parents are unable to work. Money will be going to his parents for expenses on house hold bills, food and traveling expenses so they can be with their baby and by his bedside during this very difficult time.

The amount of worry and stress is unimaginable that Josh and Reanna are experiencing over their baby boy. All donations are to help relieve some of the stress load so they can support and stay focused on their baby. Please keep Baby Ezra, his parents and family in your thoughts prayers.
