Ezra Coble Memorial Scholarship Fund

This GoFundMe campaign was created to support the Ezra Coble Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in honor of Ezra Coble's life.
Ezra Levi Kenneth Coble, 21, was taken suddenly and unexpectedly from us May 4, 2020, as a result of a massive pulmonary embolism suffered while in La Pine, Oregon. Courageous and strong, driven and determined, funny and charming, yet loving and kind all at once, Ezra was an inspiration to all those who knew him. Our wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, companion, and friend, Ezra leaves us all with a hole in our hearts that can never be completely filled.
A natural athletic talent, Ezra was a multi-year letterman in high school football and track. A natural leader, Ezra served as team captain of the La Pine High School football team his senior year, where he was voted both Defensive MVP and Most Inspirational player by his team. In the classroom, Ezra was an honor roll student in high school who went on to achieve great academic success in pursuit of his associate's degree requirements, crowned in 2019 by his induction into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Ezra was fascinated by the human body and dedicated to caring for others. At the time of his passing, Ezra was a certified nursing assistant and aspiring physician who was enrolled in the pre-medicine program at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. The Ezra Coble Memorial Scholarship Fund is being established as a non-profit entity to support graduating seniors at La Pine High School to honor Ezra's legacy in athletics, academics, and commitment to health care. Recipients will be chosen from a pool of academically successful candidates who are student-athletes and/or who are committed to pursuing a career in health care.
As we work to incorporate the scholarship fund, we ask all donations be sent to this gofundme site. Once the non-profit entity is established, all donations collected here will be transferred to the fund. Donations to the Ezra Coble Memorial Scholarship Fund should be tax deductible, pending IRS approval. We will update this site when we have further information about the scholarship fund and our non-profit status (501c3) application.
