F Cancer: help Jannielle with living expenses
Donation protected
In April, 2023 our friend and loved one, Jannielle Pendergraft was diagnosed with Stage 4 cervical cancer. Despite 10 months of aggressive chemo treatments and a hysterectomy surgery, Jannielle’s cancer is now terminal, with a life expectancy of 6-8 months without treatment or up to a year with an aggressive treatment that will most likely make her spend most of the time hospitalized. After her surgery in November, 2023, the chemo stopped working, allowing cancer to wreak havoc and spread to other vital organs including her liver with new tumors rapidly growing throughout her body. Leaving her heart broken, in pain and with difficult decisions to make about her quality of life.
Living with cancer has not only taken a toll physically, emotionally, mentally, but also financially. We’re asking for your help to lessen the financial burden on Jannielle, so that she can focus on what’s important now: fighting for her life. In between treatment and painful procedures, hospital stays, scans, and days of just feeling sick, Jannielle has not been able to work as much and with her latest prognosis she does not know if she’ll be able to work at all in the coming months.
Jannielle’s love language is giving and she has always been there for her friends and family. She bakes the best chocolate mousse and coconut cakes for her friend’s birthdays. She has not hesitated to get up in the middle of the night to drive her drunk friends home. It’s now our turn to show up for her during her time of need and uncertain future.
