F Cancer - Kelly’s Story

Hi all,

It is with hope and love I share my best friend’s story.  I can’t help but dream of a perfect life for everyone, but we all know in life you are faced with constant challenges.  Some being harder than others and requiring attention and assistance from those around you, so here goes nothing!  

Due to years of hard work and the acceptance of an amazing career opportunity, Kelly decided to get a check up knocked off her to do list prior to beginning her new journey. Thankfully so, as we now know Kelly has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  She has dedicated her life to others and has been enriching the lives of seniors for over 10 years now.  She would do anything for anyone without question.  Her personality, in summary, is rom coms and puppies.  She brings so much goofy and innocent joy to those around her. 

The past year has held such ups and downs.  She married the most amazing person and her soul mate. Weeks before their wedding they found out his father had a fast growing terminal cancer. He passed no more than a couple of months ago and now she too has been diagnosed with cancer. 

On on top of this, she has worked so extremely hard to better herself and has been promoted to a new position with a new company.  Her insurance will not kick in for a standard 60-90 day period.  She will be paying out of her pocket for COBRA during this time, which is costly, and will still require further out of pocket expenses.  

Any monetary contributions during her time of need would be so extremely helpful to take the burden off of an already difficult time.
