For those who don't know me, I'm incarcerated for a crime I didn't commit. Then, just as I'm nearing the final months of my sentence, COVID 19 infiltrates the CDCR in a major way, running through the prison like a wildfire. To compound that injury. CDCR transferred people who were infected from one prison to prisons that had few to no infections, including the infamous San Quentin. I could keep silent no longer, so I borrowed a cell phone and became an activist, using Twitter to get my message out. I also operate a blog to provide up to date and accurate information and resources in an attempt to let people know the truth and effect change. I've been successful, but there's a tremendous amount of work to do, and I'm proud to say that I'm going to be released earlier then I'd hoped. Unfortunately, after almost 20 years behind bars, I have nothing, hence my desire to initiate this Go Fund Me. It's my hope that I can raise enough money to not only allow me to get on my feet, but also to begin my own organization to continue my fight. There are so many stories in here that need to be told, so much injustice to be exposed, so many lives to save.
