Support the Herzing's

Dan Herzing was diagnosed a week ago with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. This is a big blow to Dan, his wife Leah and their 3 year old son Raine as he was very healthy and with no symptoms other than a cold/allergies, was not concerned until he became short of breath and went to the doctor. They found fluid around his lungs, which was drained and biopsied. They then found blood clots. He was then transferred to St. Vincent Hospital in Portland.

Then the dreaded news, Cancer. The news got worse daily. The cancer is in his lymph nodes, bone and brain. Dan started radiation for his brain on Monday and is having no side affects at this time. He will begin chemo as soon as the genetic testing comes back and they can make a cocktail to attack the exact strain of cancer he has.

Please help this wonderful family in their time of need. They are traveling hours a day for radiation. We do not know what their needs will be in the future, but know they will need help every step of the way.
