Support for Brian's Final Farewell
Donation protected
Update 3/16/25: We have raised from GoFundMe and direct donations a total of $2151.15. Our son, because he is the next of kin, had applied for funeral assistance with the state but a caseworker hasn’t been assigned yet. It takes awhile but one should be assigned very soon. If approved it will cover the cost up to $1200 which will fund the cremation for Papa. We are still trying to raise enough to buy a plot in the cremation garden for him to be which is $7100. Thank you to everyone who has donated, it truly means so very much. We just want Papa to have a final place to be. God Bless you!
Brian Timonen (Papa) stepped into eternity unexpectedly at 61 years old on 1/24/25. Our son Kory found him passed away in his car. We are all beyond devastated.
He was born in Minnesota and grew up in Eagle Mountain, CA. He graduated from Eagle Mountain High School in 1981. Brian moved to Arizona in 1983 and was there the rest of his life. He is a Father to Brad and Kory and Papa to Nicolas, Jacob, Brian, Isaac and Maxine. Brian and I were married for 22 years and remained the dearest of friends.
Brian had been battling with type 1 diabetes over the years which had made him so sick and in and out of hospitals often. We haven’t got the autopsy back but we are thinking he passed because of his diabetes. Brian had been experiencing homelessness and didn’t have a place to call home so he had been staying in his car. We have been trying to figure out how we can lay him to rest but we do not have the funds to do so and Brian didn’t have life insurance. Unfortunately none of us have the money that we need to take care of his final expenses. We are trying to raise money to give him a final resting place so we are reaching out for help. I just don’t know what else to do, it’s heartbreaking.
We would be ever so grateful for any help that you can give. I would also like to ask if you could please share his GoFundMe to widen the reach. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, thoughts and prayers.
Much Love,
Cindy
