Help Mavis Get Top Surgery!

Hi, my name is Mavis and I am a 27-year-old trans nonbinary person raising money for my top surgery! My gender journey has been a beautiful and winding road of self exploration filled with grief, joy, endless love, community, and reclamation of self. Most of my 20's have consisted of peeling back the many, many layers of what I have been told I am to be, to reveal the truest and most aligned version of myself. With that has also come the painful awareness of the gender dysphoria that I have felt in and about my body since puberty. My decision to pursue top surgery has been a long time coming, one that I have not taken lightly, and one that is absolutely necessary and beneficial to my overall quality of life.

That being said, I'm fundraising specifically to pay for the surgery and the hospital bills that insurance will not cover ($7000), so that I can receive the necessary care and support. Your donations will directly cover my medical bills.

My surgery date is scheduled for October 10, 2024.
