John’s Fundraiser for Barnsley Hospice

Hi, my name is John, I am 71 years old, and fundraising for Barnsley Hospice by cycling over 1000 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats starting on 20 June and finishing on 3 July (averaging 72 miles a day for each of the 14 days).

Barnsley Hospice provides specialist compassionate palliative care to patients with life limiting conditions, and to their families and those close to them. The Hospice relies heavily on the generosity of people to fund it’s work. Fundraising, though , has been adversely affected by the COVID pandemic which has severely reduced income opportunities. I am hoping to raise vital funds to help the Hospice carry on with this crucial work. Further information about its work can be found on it’s website.
