Kristi and Daniel go to help Swazi

Kristi and her son Daniel are off to Swaziland, Africa this summer to help in the mission of providing clean water, medical care, and food to those who have none. Did you know that in Swaziland there are over 95,000 orphans?! With so many orphans and a nation in devastating poverty, there is no one to help provide the daily essentials. In many cases, children as young as 8 are the leaders of their families- helping their younger siblings survive each day.
The mission of Swaziland Relief is to partner with indigenous leaders and provide short-term aid and long-term relief to the orphans and AIDS victims of Swaziland through community development. The outreach includes providing mobile medical clinics, clean water, sustainable gardens and construction of a school and church.
Kristi will be donating her time and Nursing skills while her son Daniel employs his hands-on talents and hard work ethic. In order to go, each volunteer must raise $3300 to cover expenses of the trip. The thought of raising support is new to us, but we are assured by our predecessors that it can be done. If you have ever wished to be a part of something bigger than yourself, or to make a difference and change lives, then supporting a mission like this is a great way to start!
