Thank you for your contribution and revitalization of Veterans ParkThank you for your contribution and revitalization of Veterans ParkSince the founding of our great nation, Veterans have willingly placed themselves on the frontlines to protect our countries interests at home and overseas. We, the residents of this nation have always honored those Veterans who have placed themselves in harm’s way for us. Framingham’s Veterans Memorial Park located at the Musterfield on Concord Street is one of many places throughout the City of Framingham that honors our Veterans. The Veterans Memorial was last updated in 1985. Since then, we have had a generation of Veterans who have defended this country and deserve the recognition on this memorial alongside those who served before them.
A group of volunteers have come together to update and beautify this memorial. We are asking for assistance to raise the necessary funds to accomplish the following goals.
· Additional plaques to Honor wars after Veterans Day
· Cleanup and restoration of current plaques
· New Flag Poles with lighting
· New walkways
· Repair of surfaces and lawn
· New park benches
· Signage and story boards to document history
If you’re interested in sponsoring any of the following, please contact LT. Downing at 5088721212 (ext.4918)
· Personalized 6x9 brick $150
· Flag poles
· Benches
These funds are being raised in conjunction with the Framingham Police Association, a 501(c)3 organization.
