Ahmed and His Family: Resilience in the Face of the Impossible

Hello, my name is Ahmed, and I am from Gaza, Palestine. Before October 2023, my family and I lived a normal life. I was in my second year of studying software engineering, and my older sister, Hala, was in her fourth year studying English. My father, Iyad, has a degree in education, and my mother, Sumer, has a degree in computing. I also have two younger siblings: my brother, Karim, who is in high school, and my younger sister, Tia (nicknamed Toto), who is 10 years old.

However, everything changed after October 2023. Our home was destroyed by the occupation, and we have been displaced multiple times, facing difficulty finding shelter and food. We have been in close proximity to multiple attacks, and extended family members have been injured or martyred. Finding food or safe shelter has become increasingly difficult, and everything we manage to find is incredibly expensive.

I am starting a new campaign, because the previous campaign was paused and we are unable to withdraw the money from that campaign. This puts us at even more risk, as simple necessities are extremely expensive and every dollar matters. I am asking that you help my family survive this brutal and inhumane genocide, and raise enough money to evacuate when the time comes.

Evacuation Costs:

Currently, my family needs urgent evacuation. The cost to evacuate one person from Gaza is $5,000 USD. Since there are six members of the family, the total amount required to evacuate all of us is $30,000

Unfortunately, we do not have the full amount at this moment, but we urgently need your help to raise these funds to get us to safety.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to the possibility of escaping the dangers we face. We are in desperate need of your support during this critical time, so that we do not lose hope and can finally reach safety.

Until a peaceful resolution is found, my family desperately needs continued support to survive. I will provide any updates, however communication is limited because I have to walk long distances to find an internet connection.
